If you're on the verge of dying, and you're almost out of supplies, there is no shame in exiting and regrouping before heading back to the Pit. First Attack and Bump Attack Badges don't work here, so don't even try them.

Some Badges that will make your job easier are Lucky Start, All or Nothing, Power Plus (P), Spike Shield, Quick Change, Jumpman, etc. Your choice of Badges is extremely vital to your success.
